Skin and Wound Cleanser

 

Indication for Use:
NeutroPhase Skin and Wound Cleanser is intended for use under the supervision of healthcare professionals for cleansing and removal of foreign material including microorganisms and debris from wounds and for moistening absorbent wound dressings and cleaning minor cuts, minor burns, superficial abrasions and minor irritations of the skin. It is also intended for moistening and debriding acute and chronic dermal lesions, such as Stage I-IV pressure ulcers, stasis ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, post surgical wounds, first and second degree burns, grafted and donor sites.

Direction for Use:
Apply NeutroPhase to irrigate, clean and debride wounds and periwound tissue. No rinsing necessary. To moisten and lubricate a dressing, apply NeutroPhase to wound dressing and gently apply to wound bed. Moisten dressing with NeutroPhase as needed. When changing wound dressing, avoid excessive wetness.

Handling:
Non-toxic, non-sensitizing and non-irritating to the skin and eyes. Harmless to common work surfaces. No special handling precautions required.

Ingredients:
Pure Hypochlorous acid in normal saline.

Preservative Effective in Solution:
Passes USP <51>. Inactivates P. aeruginosa, E. coli, S. aureus, C. albicans and A. niger.

Storage:
Store in its original container at ambient temperature (50°- 85°F). Non-flammable.

Disposal:
Non-toxic and safe to the environment. No special disposal considerations required. Container may be recycled.

Warning:
For external use only. Not for injection. Reduction in microbial growth in the solution has not been shown to correlate with a reduction of infections in patients. Clinical studies to evaluate reduction in infection have not been performed.
